The Southern Oregon Coast is one of the most diverse places on earth, and a photographer's dream, with lots to see and do! From crabbing and lighthouse exploring to kite flying or hiking in the redwoods. If you love the surf and sand, it's all here! The fresh seafood is fantastic whether ordered off a menu or cooked on a campfire. I just can't think of anywhere else that has such pristine beaches. | ![]() |
Ok! Ok! So, it rains a little in Southern Oregon. But,
hey, that's why it's so green here! Besides,
it doesn't rain as much as you might think. The average rain fall total
is about 19". Which is about 1/2 of Seattle's and twice L.A.'s. Also,
Oregon is a very diverse land. Although it is wet and green on the west
side of the Cascades, eastern Oregon is mostly high desert. Just admit
it, we have it all here!
